La Canadienne daycare welcomes children from 1 year to 6 years old, all the year (12 months). The educational program is given in French and English.

The program aims to preparing children to school and supporting them in acquiring skills and autonomy.

At La Canadienne daycare center, children's learning is based on the game. The educational program aims to offer comprehensive and harmonious development in every aspect of the child; social-emotional, moral, linguistic, intellectual, and physical.

An educational program for young children is inevitably focused on playing games which is the best tool for a child to explore his/her world, understand it and control it. It should therefore be regarded as the essential tool of expression and integration of the child.

Playing games allow children to grow and develop in all areas. They can take many forms. Whether solitary play, parallel, associative or cooperative play exercise and assembly with simple or complex rules, children in La Canadienne daycare center are encouraged to play these games because they lead to different types of learning. For example, building sets allows children to discover the laws of balance. Playing games that contain rules allows them to develop social skills essential to group life.

We adopt a mode of operation into four groups. Each age group has its own agenda and its own space to allow children who gather to play, move, and relax without interfering with each other.

  • Crèche (1 year – 2 years)
  • Toute Petite Section (2 years – 3 years)
  • Petite Section (3 years - 4 years)
  • Moyenne Section (4 years - 5 years)
  • Grande Section (5 years - 6 years)

The healthy lifestyle and taste develop in early childhood. That is why, the children's menu is developed by our cook in collaboration with a nutritionist.

During the day, we offer a small hot meal and two snacks. Indeed, a child under 6 years is growing and needs a variety of food, quality, in sufficient quantity and appetizing.
